NTSHONDWE CAMP IN ITHALA GAME RESERVE

WEDDINGS AND CONFERENCES and GENERAL GUEST ACCOMMODATION

The Ntshondwe camp in Ithala Game Reserve is 38 km from Vryheid in Northern Zululand, and 11 km from the small town of Louwsberg. Due to the narrow, winding road down into the reserve, NO CARAVANS or BUSES have access. Other vehicles have easy access to this diverse area.

Reception

The Curio Shop in the Reception area of the Camp, has basic groceries and drinks for sale, in addition to a selection of Curios.

The paved road through Ntshondwe Camp leads to the thatched chalets, set amongst granite boulders and indigenous shrubery. Dassies scamper in the undergrowth, while the shy Bushbuck browse close by.

Game Drive vehicle used to take guests on early morning, afternoon or evening drives through the reserve.

Conference/ Wedding Centre and Accommodation

The large venue suitable for Conferences or Weddings - maximum seating for 100 people. The larger weddings would use the Restaurant, which seats a maximum of 160 guests. Menus can be customised to suit the needs of the Group. An alternate venue for smaller groups is the Boma or Coffee shop area.

Conference Centre reception area. The Conference room has two breakaway rooms, a leisure area and a large covered verandah. It is fully equipped for a full scale conference.

Conference Chalets are like Hotel rooms - a comfortable room with twin beds, an en suite bathroom, a toaster, kettle and small fridge and a pair of cosy armchairs.

Chalets

Thatched Chalets have either two , four or six beds. They are fully-equipped with linen and utensils, have a bathroom, kitchenette, lounge and an undercover verandah with a braai.

Vervet Monkeys will enter your chalet looking for food if you leave the doors open!
