This is a loyalty club and NOT a points based programme. Our focus is on CONSERVATION – we care about our environment, our animals, our community and we want to share that with you. The Rhino Club is a platform to learn more about all things conservation and eco-tourism – we want to engage with our members and because we value you, we will also give great prizes, giveaways and fabulous accomodation discounts! The motivation for this blog is a step forward in involving our members in our club, in a personal and hands on fashion. We encourage all our visitors to this blog to make comments and share their thoughts with us. We would also love to hear from our members about their experiences in our wonderful KZN Wildlife Protected Areas. Please do send pics too if you like and we will share those on our blog. Remember to visit our website, www.kznwildlife.com, and learn more about biodiversity and eco-tourism. Thank-you for visiting our blog!

It is great to hear that you loved Ithala Lodge as much as we do!! The panoramic view of the reserve from the Pool deck is stunning too.

I would say that Ithala is one of the best game reserves in South Africa! I have always enjoyed every visit there.

Our family love the outdoors and we are also keen scuba divers who vist Sodwana Bay annually. However, Parks Board accommodation has become so expensive. As Golden Rhino card holders we often look at special offers around the April school holidays but there is none. Please look at your tariffs so it can become affordable to the average South African to enjjoy our country. perhaps a dicounted rate if one can present a South African passport?

Hello Sunette – your comment is very fair!!! We are already looking at further discount benefits for Rhino Club Gold members, and hope to introduce something new in 2009. We will keep you posted! Local travel options need to become more affordable now that Rands and cents are thinly spread for SA families!! All suggestions are welcomed by our team.
